"The Art of Birds" Silent Auction

June 5-6-7 2009 showing at Chahko Mika Mall, Nelson, BC

Attention: Practising & Student Artists. Submit original works of art "Bird Theme".

Donate art in any medium to help support B.E.A.K.S

Pick up your "artist submission form" at locations in Nelson & Castlegar. You can also call 250-365-1080 to complete form or have it emailed to you directly.

Forms must be returned to the pick-up locations by Friday, May 15, 2009.

Art works may be brought to Pass Creek area by Sunday May 31 or Chahko Mika Mall, the morning of June 5.

Art work may be done in any medium & will be donated. Bird theme preferred.

Your art will be displayed for 3 days of viewing and silent bidding. Winning bidders will be contacted by phone.

Each artist will receive a personalized certificate in recognition of supporting B.E.A.K.S.

A tax deduction receipt will be given for items with a fair market value of $50 or more.

There will also be a draw by donation, for a chance to win works of art from well known Kootenay artists.

All money will be donated to B.E.A.K.S. to help support ongoing efforts to reduce bird injury and death through education, rehabilitation and release.

Press coverage will be organized for the auction and the presentation of funds to B.E.A.K.S.
